PortSHAZ is creating a simple but smart cover to stop dry cargo, like fertiliser, from falling into the Baltic Sea. It’s made from strong, lightweight tarpaulin and can be placed right where ships load and unload. The cover helps catch spills before they reach the water. It’s easy to move, fits different ports, and works well even with little wind. This is a low-cost, effective way to keep the sea cleaner and port operations safer.
